Attorney Krystina Dorta

Krystina Dorta is an Associate Attorney at Dorta & Ortega, P.A.  Ms. Dorta received her bachelor’s degree, magna cum laude, from Florida International University.  She earned her Juris Doctor Degree from Catholic University of America in Washington D.C., where she was the recipient of the Faculty Merit Scholarship.  While in law school, Ms. Dorta was the Executive Editor for the Journal of Law and Technology and was published in the Catholic University of America Journal of Law and Technology.  She was also Vice President of Outreach Executive Board for the Latin American Law School Association.  

Ms. Dorta worked as a summer clerk in the Major Crimes Division of the United States Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of Florida; and clerked throughout law school at a local law firm focusing on wrongful death, receiverships, and contractual disputes.  She has legal experience in First Party Property Insurance Defense and Family Law.  Ms. Dorta is fluent in Spanish and a member in good standing of the Florida Bar.
